SensorZone Proximity Warning Core is an adaptable solution that can be installed on a wide range of machinery, however it is commonly used on excavators, wheel loaders, dump trucks and forklifts.
Because Core is a modular system, you can add antennas to increase the detection area. This ability is ideal for larger machines, as it enables you to independently cover the front and rear with their own areas.
Likewise, the system works well on smaller machines that can be adequately covered by a single antenna.
No, SensorZone does need direct line of sight because it uses RFID technology.
This ensures that pedestrian workers can still be detected if they are behind obstacles, working in a trench, or working in adverse weather conditions.
The system uses the 12/24v power supply from the vehicle that it's installed on.
This means that as long as the vehicle is on, the system is actively protecting people.
With SensorZone, you don't need to charge the tags at all!
Each tag has an average battery life of over 3 years, with no recharging needed at any point.
